The Tennessee Titans are perhaps the worst team in the NFL right now, and major changes are on the horizon. This is a team that needs to make major improvements across the board this offseason, and that means nobody is safe on the roster. With that in mind, here are five moves the Titans need to make after the season.

A former first round selection, Derrick Morgan, has been a massive disappointment for the Titans since entering the league. He hasn’t become the pass-rushing force Tennesee thought he would become, and he’s a terrible fit schematically. By trading Morgan, the Titans are at least getting something in return for their disappointing linebacker.

After trading away Morgan, the Titans next move should be to sign Brian Orakpo in free agency. With Orakpo’s time in Washington likely over, the injury-prone, talented linebacker could have a strong second act with the Titans.

The Titans have had one of the league’s worst defenses this season and the secondary certainly didn’t help with their poor play. Cornerback is one of the team’s biggest weaknesses heading into the offseason and signing a starting-level corner should be a top priority.

2. Upgrade Defensive Line

With one of the worst run defenses in the league, it’s become clear that the Titans need to upgrade their defensive line in a bad way. Jurrell Casey is a keeper, but outside of him, nobody should be safe.

1. Draft Marcus Mariota or Jameis Winston

The next two weeks will decide whether the Titans have the first or second overall pick in the 2015 draft, but regardless of which selection they end up with, they need to come away with a quarterback. Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston are both very good prospects at the position, and either would be an improvement for Tennessee.
