Both the New York Giants and St. Louis Rams have had rough seasons, but while the Rams were not expected to compete for a playoff spot, the Giants were very much thought to be involved in the NFL postseason discussion heading into the year.

However, New York has been one of the biggest disappointments of the season, causing their future to look cloudy at best. While it has been reported that Tom Coughlin is expected to return in 2015, it is hard not to think these next two games could be his last as a Giant.

A change of scenery could be good for all parties, but nevertheless, this Giants team is simply flawed. With the exception of the emergence of Odell Beckham Jr., a case can be made that every other player on the roster has underperformed — or simply, there just is not enough talent on the team.

After a dreadful seven-game losing streak, New York has won two straight, albeit against two teams that are fighting for the No. 1 overall pick. Still, progress is progress.

While St. Louis was not expected to do much this season, they have been an extremely tough opponent, even against the quality teams. They have won three of their past five games, including one over the Denver Broncos. On top of that, the Rams’ defense has allowed just six total points over the past three weeks, including two shutouts during that span.

Coach Jeff Fisher has done a nice job with a mediocre roster and has this team on the ascent heading into the 2015 season.

Final Prediction: The Giants have played better the past two weeks, but with this game in St. Louis, I will take the Rams, 24-20.
