2015 NFL Draft: Cleveland Browns' Top 5 Needs

At one point this season, the Cleveland Browns looked like one of the better teams in the NFL, but after four-straight losses, all the good feelings in Cleveland have dissipated. There is talent all over the roster, but there are a few areas that the team needs to address if they want to become contenders in 2015. Without further ado, here are the Browns' top five 2015 draft needs.

Mitchell Schwartz has proven to be a liability at right tackle, and it’s about time the team drafts his replacement. With several right tackle prospects with starting potential available, the Browns should pull the trigger.

When he’s healthy, Alex Mack is arguably the best center in the NFL, but as the Browns have witnessed this season, when Mack isn’t in the lineup, the depth behind him is subpar. Taking a late-round flier on a high-upside center would be well worth the investment.

3. Defensive End

The Browns' defense has a fair amount of talent, but the defensive end spot could use an upgrade. Desmond Bryant is decent enough, but his upside is relatively limited, and Armonty Bryant has health and character concerns. The 2015 class is loaded with defensive end talent, and Cleveland would be foolish not to take advantage.

2. Inside Linebacker

Karlos Dansby and Craig Robertson have been a decent-enough tandem for the Browns this season, although neither figured to be a long-term solution. Bringing in someone to pair with surprising rookie Christian Kirksey is a must.

1. Wide Receiver

Josh Gordon is a legitimate No. 1 receiver, and Andrew Hawkins has been surprisingly effective, but that shouldn’t stop the Browns from selecting a wide receiver early on. Gordon’s checkered past is well-documented, and Hawkins is probably better suited to play the slot. So taking a receiver should be at the top of the Browns' to-do list.
