At 12-4, the No. 2 seed Green Bay Packers are one of the favorites to win Super Bowl XLIX. After starting the season 1-2, the Packers have grown immensely as a team, and they look as dangerous as ever as they await their opponent in the Divisional Round. Here are five reasons why the Packers will win the Super Bowl.

Lambeau Field gives the Green Bay Packers an advantage that very few teams in the league have. Being the No. 2 seed gives the Packers at least one home game, which is great news considering they went 8-0 at home this season. The Packers, like most teams, are different when they play at home. That's bad news for the rest of the NFC.

Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson make up the best wide receiver tandem in football. Between the two this year, they have a combined 189 receptions and 25 touchdowns. They are a handful for any defense in the league, and Cobb may be the best slot receiver in the NFL.

What was once a weakness for the Packers has now become a strength. The Packers' defense has improved every month since September. The improvement has coincided with Clay Matthews' move to inside linebacker. The Packers' rushing defense has improved, and that has allowed more pass rushers to get onto the field. This team is much different than in past years.

As the weather has gotten colder, the Packers have turned to Eddie Lacy more and more and he has delivered. This running game is ready for the postseason. In Week 17, they were able to line up against the best rushing defense in the NFL and amassed over 150 yards on the ground. The Packers can control the tempo of the game while also being explosive. That's a dangerous combination.

Perhaps the league MVP, Aaron Rodgers is the biggest reason why the Packers will win the Super Bowl this year. He may not have the most gaudy stats, but he has had some of the best games in his career this season. The Packers are a different team when he is on the field. As long as his calf is okay, Rodgers will return to Lambeau with the Lombardi Trophy in hand.
