It was a terribly familiar season for Washington Redskins fans. They saw coaching incompetence, irregular quarterback play, a porous defense, a meddling owner and no real hope for the future. Check out the five things we learned about D.C.'s most popular franchise in the 2014 regular season.

He may have been Rookie of the Year not too long ago, but Robert Griffin III has some serious work on hand in order to be considered an elite QB once more. He will not have much competition next season, however, his relationship with the coaching staff will need to improve.

Speaking of that, Jay Gruden needs to understand he is basically coaching for his life next year. Most fans in Washington have known this for a while, but Daniel Snyder might be the least liked owner in professional sports after Donald Sterling's exit after the last year. Something about Snyder makes you want to sock him in the face, and we can only hope for that to happen in 2015.
