What Each AFC Team Must Do to Win the Wild Card Round

In the AFC, the entire North division, save Johnny Football and the Browns, are joined by Andrew Luck and the Colts in the wild card round. Lets take a look at what each team needs to do to win.

Poor Le’Veon Bell. DeMarco Murray may have rushed for the most yards this year, but Bell may have been the most impressive back in the NFL. Bell’s status for this weekend’s game is in serious jeopardy after he suffered a hyperextended knee in Week 17. But even without Bell, Pittsburgh’s offense may have enough fire power to ensure there are Steelers tickets available for the divisional round.

Meanwhile, the Ravens are better than their 10-6 record. Frankly, anyone holding Ravens tickets this season has seen them lose a handful of games they had no business losing. Two losses to the Bengals, as well as a home defeat by the Texans cost them a division title. The Ravens’ banged up secondary is their biggest weakness, and facet of the game the Steelers and their all-world receiver Antonio Brown are most likely to exploit.

The Colts have five losses. All five of those losses have come at the hands of a playoff team. The Colts have 11 wins. Only two of those were over a playoff team. Colts tickets have been a crapshoot this year. Even with Andrew Luck at the helm, Indy’s offense has been middle of the road, thanks to a hopeless rushing attack. Their chances will likely come down to how their defense can match up against A.J. Green (if he plays) and Jeremy Hill.

The Bengals have come a long way this season. In Weeks 5 through 10, Cincinnati was blown out by Indianapolis and New England, tied the lowly Panthers, and were spanked at home by in-state rival Cleveland. Fast-forward to now. The Bengals have won 5 of 7 including a big-time home win over the Denver Broncos. Fans holding Bengals tickets will hope good Andy Dalton shows up, and not his evil, even more red-headed twin.

Right now, it’s not too late to get playoff tickets. In fact you can even save on NFL playoff tickets thanks to ScoreBig.com, where you can pay up to 60% below box office prices for NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB tickets.
