The New York Jets and their fans are hoping to put the 2014 season far behind them. There is some change going on in New York, as Rex Ryan is gone, and more change in the future is likely. When the Jets enter the 2015 season it may be missing some familiar faces. Here are a few that may not be with the team after the offseason.

The veteran guard was a question mark to come back when this season began and will be once again be in limbo in 2015. Colon is a fiery and fierce competitor, but he is an unrestricted free agent and the Jets may want to get younger at the position. Even though he is a fun player to watch on the field, the 31-year-old veteran does take some bonehead penalties and has battled injuries his entire career.

Johnson was one of the most explosive running backs in the NFL a few years ago, but that is all in the past. The Jets were expecting a lot more from Johnson then they received, as he only totaled 663 yards and one touchdown. Johnson is under contract for next season, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Jets cut him in the offseason and save $ 3.5 million dollars in cap space.

It was a rough season for the Jets' pass defense, as they were consistently battling injuries. Landry was a starter and had a solid year with a little over 100 tackles, but he wasn't a play maker (zero forced fumbles and interceptions). The Jets brought in Calvin Pryor as the future of the team, and they may give him an expanded role next season, making Landry expendable.

Vick to the Jets created a lot of buzz, but it didn't do much more than that. The veteran quarterback was never in the long-term plans for the team and Geno Smith dominated most of the playing time. Vick's days as a starter, and a New York Jet, may be over, but he can still be a nice backup for a young quarterback elsewhere.

The long-time New York Jets linebacker is a free agent to be. Harris is as consistent as they come at the position and he is a steady source of tackles (over 100 tackles in five out of eight seasons). Even though Harris isn't the fastest player on the field, he can read offenses really well and is a great commander in the center of the field. Harris may be a candidate for the franchise tag, but the Jets have a big decision to make on him.
