The Seattle Seahawks have homefield advantage in the NFC playoffs, with a Divisional Round matchup coming against the Carolina Panthers, as they try to win back-to-back Super Bowls.

But some changes seem likely to come this offseason, and here are five veterans who may not be back with the Seahawks next season.

Jackson has found a solid niche as Russell Wilson's backup, but the Seahawks could hardly be blamed for seeking an upgrade.

Williams signed with Seattle last offseason in order to hopefully end his career with a Super Bowl ring. If that happens about a month from now, he could easily choose to call it a (Hall of Fame?) career.

Miller only played three games this season before eventually being placed on injured reserve with an ankle issue, and he has missed 16 games in four seasons with the Seahawks. A $4 million salary cap number for 2015 may lead to his release.

2. CB Byron Maxwell

Seattle's front office has made a concerted effort to sign many key defensive players to long-term deals. But Maxwell is headed for free agency, and looks like an odd-man out after a fairly disappointing season (two interceptions) that saw him battle a few minor injuries.

1. RB Marshawn Lynch

Lynch's future in Seattle is up in the air, due to his off-the-field manor, age (29 in April) and mileage (1,181 carries over the last four regular seasons). Lynch carries an $8.5 million salary cap hit for the final year of his contract next season, and the Seahawks could simply choose not to pay him for the start of his decline.
