Two teams that have shown Super Bowl potential will clash at legendary Lambeau Field on Sunday as the NFL playoffs continue. In a classic matchup, the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys will be fighting for a right to play in the NFC Championship Game. Here are the top five storylines for Cowboys vs. Packers in the divisional round.

The Packers will host the Cowboys in a playoff game at Lambeau Field for the first time since 1967. That game also just so happened to be one of the most legendary in NFL history. The “Ice Bowl” had a game-time temperature of -15 degrees with a wind chill of -48 degrees. The game on Sunday won’t be nearly as cold, but the temperature is still expected to be in single digits when factoring in the wind chill during the game.

Green Bay is undefeated at home this season while Dallas is undefeated on the road. Obviously, one of these impressive streaks will have to give during the contest. Considering Aaron Rodgers is a beast at Lambeau Field and has not tossed an interception at home since 2012, there’s a good bet he will be the reason the Packers emerge victorious.

3. Packers Run Defense vs. DeMarco Murray

Make no mistake about it. The Cowboys are going to feature DeMarco Murray frequently and run right at the Packers. The MVP candidate’s rushing numbers were head and shoulders above every other running back in the league in 2014. He is Dallas’ best weapon and they know it. Since Green Bay has struggled against the run this season, it could be the defining factor in the contest.

If there is one area the Cowboys are weak in it is pass defense. Quarterbacks have taken to the air with success against Dallas’ secondary all season, which is certainly not good when facing the best signal caller in the game. Just like the Cowboys will feature Murray frequently, the Packers are going to put the ball in Rodgers’ hands and let him do his thing. The 2014 NFL MVP should be able to carve up the Cowboys with ease.

The top storyline entering the contest has to be the state of Rodgers’ calf, which he injured against the Buccaneers in Week 16 and aggravated against the Lions in Week 17. After going to the locker room with what looked like a serious injury, Rodgers came back in the regular season finale to defeat Detroit. Still, even he isn’t going to go into too much detail regarding his calf, although he did say he should be fine for the game.
