5 Young Players Set To Break Out For Green Bay Packers In 2015

The Green Bay Packers are normally an organization that builds from within. They draft and develop, so they expect their young, talented players to excel only after a year or two under their belt. Here are five candidates who will do just that in 2015.

Datone Jones has all the talent in the world to be a dominant defensive end, something the Packers have lacked for years. He just needs to put it all together. He has struggled to remain healthy throughout his short NFL career, but should he avoid injury, he could be a great asset for the Packers.

It took Sam Barrington two plays against the New England Patriots to announce his presence as an inside linebacker. This man can lay the lumber and be a real intimidating force in the middle. If he can improve in coverage, he will become a long-term answer at middle linebacker for Green Bay.

Davante Adams has shown flashes of brilliance this year, but consistency is holding him back. He is continuing to build his trust with Aaron Rodgers, and that's the most important thing. There's no way the Packers let Randall Cobb walk in the offseason, so Adams should see a fair share of single coverage in 2015.

Richard Rodgers has certainly had his struggles this season, but he has played well as of late, especially against the Detroit Lions. Losing Jermichael Finley to a neck injury one year ago put a damper on the Packers' offense, but Rodgers will become a suitable replacement in the passing game.

The Packers have a difficult decision to make come season's end. Both Tramon Williams and Davon House will be free agents at the end of the year, and cornerbacks are more valuable than ever in this day and age. I don't think there is anyway the Packers let the 25-year-old House walk, especially because his size allows him to match up with some of the best receivers in the game. He could be the Packers' next great corner.
