The Philadelphia Eagles began the season at 9-3, but lost three of their past four games, to finish 10-6 and miss the postseason. Normally when a team wins 10 games, they usually make the playoffs, but with numerous teams playing well this season, Philadelphia was faced with unfortunate circumstances. Nevertheless, this team needs to fix some things in order to not only make the postseason in 2015, but also compete for a Super Bowl.

Almost everybody's breakout candidate for this past season was tight end Zach Ertz. However, he was not utilized throughout the year the way it was needed. He showed he can be a dynamic player in this league, as he had 15 receptions for 115 yards in Week 16. Look for Ertz to come up big in 2015.

They do not need to overspend, but a guy like Torrey Smith or Michael Crabtree could prove to be a difference maker.

Darren Sproles was a great acquisition last offseason, but he needs to get more touches in 2015. He had only three games with double-digit touches, and with how elusive he is with the ball, Sproles needs to be much more involved.

As of now, it looks like Nick Foles will be the starting quarterback next season. The Eagles had a league-high 36 giveaways in 2014, with Foles and Mark Sanchez being the biggest culprits. Look at this way; one less turnover and one more possession this past season could have led to one more victory. Which would have gotten the team into the postseason.

This is the most obvious change that is needed. Definitely two possibly three starters need to be replaced. Bradley Fletcher will not be back, and Cary Williams and/or Nate Allen could also be on their way out.
