The Green Bay Packers will take on the Seattle Seahawks in what should be an exhilarating NFC Championship Game. Despite all of the talent in the NFC in 2014, this is the matchup everyone assumed would occur in the title game. The Packers have their work cut out for them, but that doesn’t mean they can’t emerge victorious. In fact, here are five reasons why the Packers will win the 2015 NFC Championship.

The Seahawks open as seven-point favorites over the Packers for the NFC Championship. As of right now, it appears no one is giving Green Bay the time of day, with most saying Seattle is unbeatable at home. The odds being stacked against them is exactly why the Packers could win. No one succeeds more with a chip on his shoulder than Aaron Rodgers does, which is the mentality the entire team must have on Sunday.

Davante Adams and Richard Rodgers stepped up big for Green Bay in the divisional round with each catching a touchdown pass. The rookies have been fantastic for the Packers in 2014. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Corey Linsley, Adams and Rodgers must all continue to play well in the NFC title game as each of their numbers will be called at least once in a big moment. Seattle may take them lightly, which means their personal success could help the Packers win.

Some have talked about how great Green Bay’s offensive line has been this season, but in general, they’re not getting the credit that is due. If the Packers want to win, they must protect Aaron Rodgers at all costs and give him time to make plays. That won’t be easy against the best defense in the NFL. Still, the offensive line controlling the line of scrimmage will be a huge factor if the Packers go on to win and clinch a Super Bowl berth.

Everyone wants to discuss Green Bay’s great offense vs. Seattle’s dynamic defense. However, it is the Packers’ defense vs. the Seahawks’ offense that could be the real storyline. I believe Green Bay’s defense is better than Seattle’s offense, which is exactly why they will win the game. Seattle’s wide receivers are no match for Green Bay’s defensive backs. Plus, the Packers get after the QB and Russell Wilson was sacked frequently in 2014.

The No. 1 reason the Packers will win the NFC Championship Game is because of the two-headed offensive monster that is Aaron Rodgers and Eddie Lacy. Sure, both players were stifled in Week 1 by Seattle’s ferocious defense. However, Rodgers and Lacy have been destroying opponents all season. Just ask the Cowboys who experienced 417 yards of offense between the two players. If Rodgers and Lacy can get it going early, the Packers will be victorious.
