DeMarco Murray is coming off one of the most impressive seasons by a running back in recent memory, rushing for 392 times for 1,845 yards and 13 TDs while catching 57 passes for 416 yards. However, we know the Cowboys are going to prioritize re-signing Dez Bryant and have already stated they will Murray test free agency. So which teams stand the best chance of signing arguably the NFL's best running back this offseason?

We know Rex Ryan loves to run the ball, and we know the Bills are going to need to lean on their running game while they try to fix their quarterback situation. The team is likely going to move on from C.J. Spiller, and Fred Jackson is turning 34. Murray would give the Bills the star back they need to generate enough offense to support their outstanding defense and contend early in Ryan's tenure.

The Raiders have a major need at running back, plenty of cap space, and no fear of making a huge splash in free agency. All that adds up to make a significant offer for Murray likely, and he would be a crucial addition for the development of Derek Carr. The only reason the Raiders rank this low is the question of whether or not Murray wants to join a rebuilding team, but there is a good chance the Raiders will be the highest bidder.

Ryan Mathews has never fully lived up to his first-round draft status, and he is set to be a free agent. Murray would be a massive addition to the NFL's 30th-ranked rushing offense, and he could be the piece the Chargers need to make a real challenge for a Super Bowl. San Diego isn't exactly awash in cap space, but they have the ability to make this deal happen.

2. Indianapolis Colts

The Colts have arguably the worst running back situation in the NFL, and they badly need a run game to help take some of the pressure off Andrew Luck. Murray would likely be intrigued by the idea of joining a team that was so close to the Super Bowl, and the Colts have the money to make it happen. One negative, however, is Luck's impending mega-contract, which could cause the Colts to be cautious in their spending.

The Falcons are going to be a top destination for Murray. They already found a new head coach in Dan Quinn, who has gone to back to back Super Bowls behind an elite run game. Steven Jackson is gone, and no one knows if Devonta Freeman can handle the No. 1 role. The Falcons could easily win the pathetic NFC South with Murray on their offense, and a clear path to the playoffs will appeal to him. All in all, Atlanta makes a ton of sense.
