Now that the 2014 NFL season is in the books for the Cleveland Browns, it is now time to look ahead to the future for the franchise. The team has a lot of work to do in 2015 acquiring talent, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Luckily for them, they have no shortage of cap space in which to do it, giving them some room to splurge. Knowing that, here are five bold predictions for what the team might do in free agency this offseason.

First up for the Browns is Torrey Smith. The reason I think Smith could land in Cleveland is simple, he fills a need. Teams may lock up top WRs like Dez Bryant and Demaryius Thomas long-term, if not franchise tag them. However, Smith could slip into free agency. He has expressed his desire to stay in Baltimore, but if a deal falls apart, expect the Browns to jump on him. They have question marks at WR with both Miles Austin and Josh Gordon.

Next up is DT Ndamukong Suh for the Browns. This pickup would be one of luxury for the Browns, more so than a major need. His presence on the inside of the team's defensive line would change the dynamic of the defense. With Phil Taylor, Desmond Bryant, Sione Fua, Billy Winn and Suh among others on the defensive line, the Browns would have some major tonnage there. Add in an underrated secondary and the Browns could be downright scary in 2015.

Perhaps the biggest splash the team could make on offense is making DeMarco Murray a Cleveland Brown in 2015. He would be considered a major upgrade over Isaiah Crowell, Terrance West and Glenn Winston. Considering that the Browns are historically at their best when they run the football, it would make sense to acquire Murray. The Cowboys will probably let him walk in favor of Dez Bryant, leaving the door wide open for him in Cleveland.

Perhaps the move with the best chance of happening, Matt Flynn could very well become the team's starting QB in 2015. This may not be what Browns fans want to hear, but he would almost certainly be an upgrade over Brian Hoyer (who is also a free agent) and Johnny Manziel. New Browns OC John Defilippo was the QB coach for the Raiders when Flynn was there in 2013, so the two have at least some history together. He could be a sleeper QB for them.

Perhaps the boldest of the five predictions on this list, Johnny Manziel could find himself cut shortly. The reason for this is two-fold. First, sources in Cleveland have called him "a 100 percent joke," accusing him of not knowing the plays. Owner Jimmy Haslam is losing faith in him too and when an owner doesn't like a player, his days could be numbered. His poor play on the field is a major problem as well. The Browns have a decision to make.
