The Seattle Seahawks made their second Super Bowl trip in as many years in 2014, but that doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement. If the NFC Champions want to make it to the top again in 2015, here are five things they must improve over the 2015 offseason.

The Seattle Seahawks offense isn’t the reason they have reached the Super Bowl now two seasons in a row. If not for Marshawn Lynch, a dominant rushing attack, and Russell Wilson’s mobility, Seattle’s wide receivers would be considered a bigger weakness. Percy Harvin was brought in to help bring a weapon to the passing game, but his midseason departure leaves the NFC champs with a position of weakness.

The Seahawks are known as a team that doesn’t beat themselves, but you wouldn’t know it by how often they coughed up the ball in 2014. Seattle fumbled the 10th most times in the league and remarkably only lost seven of their 23 fumbles. They shouldn’t count on that kind of luck repeating itself next season.

Marshawn Lynch’s running ability could make any offensive line look good. The Seahawks line battled injuries in 2014 and struggled to protect quarterback Russell Wilson on a regular basis. Wilson was sacked 42 times in 2014, the sixth-highest amount in the NFL.

There is no denying the Seahawks had the best overall defense in 2014, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have areas that need to be improved. Opponents converted eight of 14 fourth down attempts in 2014 against the vaunted Seattle defense, the seventh highest rate in the NFL.
