In case you were unaware, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is a sensitive guy. And right now, as he’s caught in the midst of the DeflateGate scandal that has him nabbed as a prime suspect, Brady has been suffering some serious feels.

During his weekly radio appearance on WEEI’s “Dennis and Callahan,” Brady admitted that DeflateGate has taken its toll on his mental stability.

“I personalized a lot of things and thought this was all about me and my feelings got hurt, and then I moved past it because it’s not serving me,” Brady said on the show.

Aww. We’re sorry, Tom. We didn’t mean to hurt your feelings by pointing fingers at the most logical culprit in this whole DeflateGate debacle. How dare we accuse the quarterback who’s long complained about the pressure in his footballs of finding a way to make them softer — as he’s admitted to preferring. Apparently it’s rude to question someone who could very well be a cheater.

We all want this to be over just as much as you do, Tom. However, we’re not buying the victim routine. Either you were involved or you weren’t. Trying to appeal to the emotional side isn’t going to gain you any further support.

Man up.
