Did Seattle Seahawks’ Putrid Play Call Lead to Man’s Death?

If you look really close in the obituary of one Michael Sven Vedvik, you’ll see that he was a big Seattle Seahawks fan. You’ll also see that, according to whoever wrote this obituary, there’s a possibility that the Seahawks’ horrid play call at the end of Super Bowl XLIX may actually have caused his passing. Now obviously the play call didn’t kill Vedvik, but it’s great to know the family was able to make light of a crappy situation.

Still, imagine if that play call really did cost Vedvik his life. How would Pete Carroll feel about it? Knowing that, for the rest of his life, he would have to live with the fact that his decision to pass instead of run took the life of one Seahawks faithful. Crazy stuff, huh? Anyway… We’re sorry to hear about Vedvik’s passing, but are glad that Carroll’s mistake wasn’t the cause.
