You almost have to feel for the St. Louis Rams for having to play in the best division in football. It seems like year-in and year-out they are on the brink of breaking out, evidenced by competing with each team in the NFC West each week. However, like every team, there seems to be a couple holes that just needs a playmaker to come in and right the ship. Here are five Rams fans need to know about.

After one of the best showings by any player at the Reese’s Senior Bowl, Laken Tomlinson’s stock skyrocketed and he’s now regarded as one of the best guard prospects in the draft. Certainly Rams fans don’t want to see another offensive lineman drafted high because it’s not a “fun”pick, but St. Louis needs help at the guard position.

Jared Cook, the current starting tight end for St. Louis, is a terrific athlete, but has been trouble for teams since his days in Tennessee. Maxx Williams is a prospect who can run a post route and snag the ball like Odell Beckham Jr., or he can stay in and block. Cook is expected to stick around, so Williams may be an option if head coach Jeff Fisher decides to implement more two tight end sets.

3. Marcus Peters - CB - University of Washington

If the Rams are looking to draft a cornerback at the 10th slot in the draft, Marcus Peters is one of the guys they’re targeting. He had a stellar career at the University of Washington, but it was cut short at the end of this season after getting dismissed from the team. Jeff Fisher has experience with troubled players, so he wouldn't have a problem with Peters.

2. Garrett Grayson - QB - Colorado State University

The future for Sam Bradford has been up in the air ever since re-injuring his knee last August, and Austin Davis showed flashes, but all-in-all, the Ram’s offense was inept all season. Going after Garrett Grayson in the second would be a the best case scenario for the Rams and their future at the quarterback position.

There’s really not enough you can say regarding Dorial Green-Beckham’s athleticism. Standing at 6-foot-6, 225 pounds, the former high school athlete of the year is a freak in the red zone with solid hands. He’s a native of Springfield, MO, so keeping him in-state may help with his character concerns.
