Since he's not getting any younger and the Falcons just hired new offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan, running back Steven Jackson is not expected to be back in Atlanta next season. While he isn't what he once was, he can still contribute to a team and there should be several around the league interested in him. Here are five teams he could wind up with.

If the Vikings decide to part ways with Adrian Peterson, Jackson could make a lot of sense as a platoon back with someone else. Even if Minnesota brings back Peterson, Jackson could be a nice bruising compliment to him, which could potentially make the Vikings contenders in 2015.

The Patriots are known as a revolving door for running backs, and they certainly would seem to be interested in an established veteran to join their running back corps. He has the same smash mouth running style that LaGarrette Blount has, so it would help their offense really wear opposing defenses down.

The Colts seem to have finally found something with Boom Herron at the running back position, but they could definitely use a complimentary back to him. Indy might be just about ready to give up on Trent Richardson and if they are, they could bring Steven Jackson on board to be a short-yardage back.

With Frank Gore near the end of the line and Carlos Hyde ready to take over as the featured back, he could use someone behind him to take some of the pressure off of him at the beginning of his career. Jackson could be that guy and could also be a really good veteran mentor for a young Hyde, who seems to have all the makings of a very good every-down NFL back.

Oakland doesn't exactly have their running back situation figured out yet, but Steven Jackson could actually be a featured back for them. He's too old and beaten up to be an every down back, but he could certainly be the premier back in the Oakland offense. With his toughness, the Raiders could begin to form a new identity as a competitive football team.
