Much has been made of the down season quarterback Colin Kaepernick had in 2014 for the San Francisco 49ers. The media has been known to take some shots at the backwards-hat, jewelry-wearing Kaepernick for not looking or acting the way a franchise quarterback is “supposed to.” He puts some of it on himself, but it became clear today he’s had enough.
1000 abs…. arm workout….. 10 min straight on the jump rope…. 2 hour study session in February….. that’s what we call a recovery day!

Kaepernick has the been preparing for the season and studying with Kurt Warner in Arizona this offseason. One fan, apparently not happy with Kaepernick choosing to spend any time working out when he could be watching film, tweeted back at the 49er.
@Kaepernick7 @49ers ab workout won’t help find open receiver #study — stephen batten (@battman_returns) February 18, 2015
It’s safe to say this comment didn’t sit too kindly with Kaepernick. Take a look at the barrage he directed back at the Twitter tough guy.
@battman_returns are you illiterate or just ignorant? Read the tweet again better yet give me your breakdown of every defensive coverage

@battman_returns I want every players responsibility on every coverage if you can’t do it mind your damn business clown! — Colin Kaepernick (@Kaepernick7) February 18, 2015
@battman_returns you got 8 followers bruh your own family don’t even want to know what you doin! Get better at life!

Kaepernick could just ignore the vast number of tweets I’m sure are sent his way on a daily basis, and he may have taken it a little too far in the end, but good for him in calling out someone who misread his tweet entirely. He’s been known to thrive on the Twitter “hate” that’s been sent his way on Twitter before and it looks like Kaepernick might have a little extra motivation to bounce back strong in 2015.
