Apparently Tim Tebow can throw spirals now. Good for him. And good for Tebow finally learning a skill mastered by a plethora of nine-year-old quarterbacks.

It also appears word of Tebow’s latest overblown accomplishment reached the Philadelphia Eagles, and Chip Kelly just might believe this added ingredient makes Tebow worth investing an amount of invaluable time. According to Adam Schefter, Tebow is working out today for the Eagles.

Kelly has turned the Philadelphia fanbase upside-down, and now the Eagles head coach has just broken the Internet. I wonder if LeSean McCoy saw the circus coming to town on the way out?

Besides bringing a Kardashian-load of unwanted attention, what else does Tebow bring to the table? You have to dig just to find an ounce of upside. Tebow has size, which is good. Tebow has mobility, which is a plus. But when compared to the NFL mean, this size and speed is reduced to average, making Tebow’s below-average arm a terrifically terrible outlier.

Supposedly Tom House has changed all that. Former MLB pitcher, turned pitching-prospect guru, turned NFL quarterback Mr. Miyagi, has guided Tebow through intense instruction and now claims the former Heisman trophy winner can finally throw spirals.

Will Tebow’s left-handed lobs cut through the wind? Or will they wobble through the air and miss wide-open targets? Like many of the clandestine operations in Philadelphia this offseason, only Kelly will have the answer.
