This fall, you may be hearing talk of a dynasty brewing whenever the conversation touches on the Seattle Seahawks. If the Hawks represent the NFC for a third-straight year, any fan aware of the NFL’s penchant for parity should be aware that Seattle would become a dynasty. Here are the teams that could get in the way of Seattle’s elite quest.

13. San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers are a housefire that’s still smoldering. Jim Harbaugh is gone, multiple linebackers have retired and Colin Kaepernick left the 2014 season appearing confused in the pocket. This may be a battle of two teams going in two separate directions, but either 2015 matchup could take a turn of the phrase, “any given Sunday.”

12. Baltimore Ravens

As one Harbaugh departs, another stands solid in Baltimore. John Harbaugh and this Ravens’ franchise have achieved mutual success almost annually. The 2015 season could be different, but shouldn’t be a disaster. The Seahawks will see the Ravens in Baltimore in what could be a ground-and-pound showdown between Marshawn Lynch and Justin Forsett.

11. Cleveland Browns

The Browns travel to Seattle in what should be a gimme game for the Hawks and the 12th man. Cleveland’s quarterback situation is in tremendous flux, they run by committee, and the defense is the only attribute rising in comparison with Seattle.

10. Cincinnati Bengals

The Seahawks' toughest times are had on the road. As you should’ve inferred, this 2015 matchup will be in Cincinnati. The Bengals will get 10 wins from somewhere, and it could be a home game against the Seahawks. The 12th man will have to travel well to this one.

9. Arizona Cardinals

Home and away, this matchup won’t be easy for the Seahawks. Bruce Arians is broaching the same coaching tier as Pete Carroll, and the Cardinals should be competitive this season. Both of these games should have big divisional implications.

8. Minnesota Vikings

A road game for the Seahawks, the Vikings are beginning to turn things around with Teddy Bridgewater and turn away from the Adrian Peterson fallout. The Vikings could easily be an 8-8 team and potentially give the Seahawks a good fight.

Ben Roethlisberger, Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown could be the NFL’s next “Big 3,” and could be an AFC front-runner. This grudge match will be held in Seattle.

Seattle has had an odd rivalry with the Carolina Panthers over the last couple seasons. Meeting in the playoffs in January was just another chapter. Cam Newton may not be new, but will be improved in 2015, and the Seahawks should be up to the evolution.

5. St. Louis Rams

The Rams have a new quarterback (Nick Foles), a possible solution at running back (Tre Mason) and a good defense that should look a year improved. This divisional rivalry should be interesting in 2015, and St. Louis could usurp San Francisco in giving the Seahawks headaches.

Another playoff contender on the Seahawks' schedule, the Packers will be exercising a hefty chip on the shoulder after 2014’s disappointing finish. This game is in Lambeau, and if it’s in December, it could be terrific on the tundra.

This leg of the NFC North tour will be held in Seattle. Jay Cutler is likely back, and John Fox is now the coach of the Bears. I put Chicago anywhere between four and nine wins and Seattle should put Chicago in the crosshairs.

2. Detroit Lions

Wherever Chicago ends up, expect the Lions to be possibly one or two games better. Like the Bears, Detroit will be playing the Seahawks in Seattle, and it should be another light game for the Hawks. Detroit is inept at best on the road, and I doubt this culture will change for 2015.

Seattle plays America’s Team in the Jerry dome in 2015. This will likely be a Sunday night or Monday night game, and if both teams continue recent trends, it’ll be an epic game for the entirety.
