The Kansas City Chiefs have the 18th pick in this year's NFL Draft. It's hard to predict exactly which players will be available at that point, but you can certainly have a group of players you want to target. The Chiefs have a few areas of need to address if they want to get back to being a playoff team. Here are five players they should consider in the first round.

The Chiefs had their fair share of offensive line problems last season. There doesn't appear to be any elite level offensive lineman in this draft, but there are plenty of good ones. Ereck Flowers is really athletic for a big guy and will be a force in the run game. He isn't the most polished prospect, so he will need some good coaching at the next level.

4. Andrus Peat, OT, Stanford

Unlike Flowers, Andrus Peat might be the most game-ready offensive tackle in the draft. Peat should start out on the right side as he adjusts to the speed of the NFL. If the Chiefs want a guy that can step in and start next season then Peat will be their guy.

Everyone has heard the stat by now, but it's still shocking that Chiefs didn't have a single touchdown catch from their receivers last year. The Chiefs should waste no time if DeVante Parker falls to them at 18. He is widely considered the third-best wide receiver in the draft. Their receiving corps would be drastically improved if they get Parker to go along with Jeremy Maclin.

2. Cameron Erving, C, Florida State

Versatility is the allure of Cameron Erving for the Chiefs. Center is believed to be his best spot, but he will be capable of moving to guard if needed. Erving is still learning as an offensive lineman as he started his career on the defensive line.

Jaelen Strong is a more realistic receiver option at 18 than DeVante Parker. Strong is yet another big bodied wide receiver with speed that will have defensive coordinators shaking their heads. He needs some work with his route running but has the tools to be a very effective receiver with a little bit of coaching.
