We know that this matchup will be in the last week of the preseason and will be the final tune-up for Peyton Manning and the possible two-headed monster the Cardinals go with at quarterback. It’ll be interesting to see how many snaps Gary Kubiak allows Manning to take, or better yet, how many snaps Manning deems necessary.

Just about every Eagles game will be worth it until we finally get over Chip Kelly and his S-8 menu of play calling. The Ravens let a few key free agents go, so seeing how John Harbaugh mends those gaps will also make this a game worth watching until at least the second series of plays.

You get the defending champs with an apparently ageless Tom Brady and a QB in Cam Newton that seems primed to take “the leap.” Also, if you’ve been paying attention, the Patriots have had some of the NFL’s best backups in recent memory. What more could you ask from a meaningless game?

7. Dallas Cowboys at San Francisco 49ers

In season or before the season, this is a rivalry game. The Cowboys are trending up while the 49ers appear to be burning down and that right there is what we call a storyline.

It’s a preseason rematch of the Super Bowl XLVIII meltdown. Every “Omaha” will count for a lot less, but the revenge factor should amount to a much more watchable game.

This was so close to being a Super Bowl XLIX rematch it must be sickening for Packers Nation. Last year Green Bay had the Patriots at Lambeau, now the Packers get to travel to Foxborough for a few series of good football.

A lot of young and talented wideouts will be on display in this one. Philadelphia has been dropping baggage like a careless flight attendant and it’ll be quite the scene to see just who Philly’s QB will be throwing to. Once we figure out which QB will head the Eagles' depth chart, of course.

You never miss an opportunity to go to New Orleans. Never. A preseason game at the Superdome is better than any regular season game in Jacksonville.

This could be one of our first glimpses at Jameis Winston: NFL quarterback. Either way we get the consistently average exploits of Andy Dalton and a preview into year two of Lovie Smith with Tampa Bay.
