The Atlanta Falcons, of course, did not make the playoffs last year, but fans have to love the team’s schedule for the 2015 NFL season.

After all, it is shaping up to be one of the easiest schedules in the league — well, when you look at what Atlanta’s opponents achieved last year in the record department.

Eagles @ Falcons — Week 1: Monday, Sept. 14 at 7:10 p.m. ET

Falcons @ Giants — Week 2: Sunday, Sept. 20 at 1 p.m. ET

Falcons @ Cowboys — Week 3: Sunday, Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. ET

Texans @ Falcons — Week 4: Sunday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. ET

Redskins @ Falcons — Week 5: Sunday, Oct. 11 at 1 p.m. ET

Falcons @ Saints — Week 6: Thursday, Oct. 15 at 8:25 p.m. ET

Falcons @ Titans — Week 7: Sunday, Oct. 25 at 1 p.m. ET

Buccaneers @ Falcons — Week 8: Sunday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. ET

Falcons @ 49ers — Week 9: Sunday, Nov. 8 at 4:05 p.m. ET

Week 10: Bye

Colts @ Falcons — Week 11: Sunday, Nov. 22 at 1 p.m. ET

Vikings @ Falcons — Week 12: Sunday, Nov. 29 at 1 p.m. ET

Falcons @ Buccaneers — Week 13: Sunday, Dec. 6 at 1 p.m. ET

Falcons @ Panthers — Week 14: Sunday, Dec. 13 at 1 p.m. ET

Falcons @ Jaguars — Week 15: Sunday, Dec. 20 at 1 p.m. ET

Panthers @ Falcons — Week 16: Sunday, Dec. 27 at 1 p.m. ET

Saints @ Falcons — Week 17: Sunday, Jan. 3 at 1 p.m. ET

As usual, health will play a key role this season. The Falcons have the stars to make some noise (stars like Matt Ryan and Julio Jones). However, fans can’t forget that their team finished with a 6-10 record in 2014 … and still almost made the playoffs.

Weak NFC South or not, Atlanta has to like its schedule. That said, a lot of work still needs to be done, the NFL Draft still needs to go down and the season seems like a lifetime from now.
