Last season, the Indianapolis Colts made it all the way to the AFC Championship Game before getting blown out by the eventual Super Bowl champion New England Patriots. Veteran reinforcements have been brought in with the hope they can make it a step further in 2015.

The Colts play the NFC South, by far the worst division in football, and have their most difficult games at home. At least right now, the schedule looks soft and the Colts have a great chance of having a huge season.

Week 1: Colts @ Bills, Sep. 13 at 1:00 p.m. ET

Week 2: Jets @ Colts, Sep. 21 at 8:30 p.m. ET

Week 3: Colts @ Titans, Sep. 27 at 1:00 p.m. ET

Week 4: Jaguars @ Colts, Oct. 4 at 1:00 p.m. ET

Week 5: Colts @ Texans, Oct. 8 at 8:25 p.m. ET

Week 6: Patriots @ Colts, Oct. 18 at 8:30 p.m. ET

Week 7: Saints @ Colts, Oct. 25 at 1:00 p.m. ET

Week 8: Colts @ Panthers, Nov. 2 at 8:30 p.m. ET

Week 9: Broncos @ Colts, Nov. 8 at 4:25 p.m. Et

Week 10: Bye

Week 11: Colts @ Falcons, Nov. 22 at 1:00 p.m. ET

Week 12: Buccaneers @ Colts, Nov. 29 at 1:00 p.m. ET

Week 13: Colts @ Steelers, Dec. 6 at 8:30 p.m. ET

Week 14: Colts @ Jaguars, Dec. 13 at 1:00 p.m. ET

Week 15: Texans @ Colts, Dec. 20 at 1:00 p.m. ET

Week 16: Colts @ Dolphins, Dec. 27 at 1:00 p.m. ET

Week 17: Titans @ Colts, Jan. 3 at 1:00 p.m. ET

Indianapolis is already fortunate to be in a weak division like the AFC South, and now they get lucky once again by playing the four teams from the NFC South. The Denver Broncos and New England Patriots figure to be the two best opponents on their schedule and both games will take place at home in Indianapolis.

The Colts made more moves than just about any other team this past offseason. Free agent signings of Andre Johnson, Frank Gore, and Trent Cole were the biggest additions in the offseason. They also rid themselves of failed first-round running back Trent Richardson and appear poised to have a more balanced offensive attack in 2015. The Colts have the look of a great team and their schedule has them set up for perhaps even the No. 1 seed in the AFC heading into the playoffs. I’m predicting a 12-4 record for Andrew Luck and the Colts.
