The Houston Texans‘ DeAndre Hopkins is already a hot fantasy football commodity, but in the real world of the NFL, Hopkins is apparently held in high regard as well.

According to NBC Sports’ Rotoworld, Texans head coach Bill O’Brien already considers Hopkins “one of the best [wide receivers] in the league.”

Over Hopkins’ rookie year and sophomore season, the Texans wideout has trended upward: 52 receptions in 2013, followed by 76 in 2014. What’s bigger than those reception numbers is the yardage. Hopkins consistently averages above 15 yards per catch (15.4 in 2013, 15.9 in 2014) and this is what could be showing coach O’Brien such promise.
