Suspending a franchise quarterback more than four games just isn’t fair, no matter how you view the crime and cover-up of slightly under-inflated footballs.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has been suspended four games, and the Pats must sacrifice two draft picks as well as fork over $1 million.

It’s tough for justice to be blind when doling discipline to one of the NFL‘s most polarizing players, but in saying something I may regret down the road, Roger Goodell made the right call on suspending Brady.
