The Philadelphia Eagles are heading into a very intriguing 2015 season, and they are relying on a few of their rookies to be playmakers for them. Sam Bradford was acquired by Chip Kelly, and superstar running back DeMarco Murray left the Dallas Cowboys to sign with Philadelphia. That being said, the draft was used to fill some holes.

What can the Eagles and their fans expect to see from their rookies in 2015?

Nelson Agholor was the Eagles' first-round draft pick this year, and he will be a major difference maker for them immediately due to the departure of Jeremy Maclin. At 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds, he is an athletic freak who is also extremely physical. Philadelphia will be asking for him to step in immediately and be a big contributor and quite possibly a starter.

Round 2 - Eric Rowe, CB

Philadelphia looked to help shore up their defensive secondary with the selection of Utah Utes cornerback Eric Rowe in the second round. He racked up 59 tackles, an interception, a defensive touchdown and 13 defensed passes during his senior season with the Utes. The Eagles will need him to play some good football in his rookie season in order to help improve one of their major weaknesses from a year ago.

Round 3 - Jordan Hicks, LB

One of the more intriguing picks of the draft was Texas Longhorns linebacker Jordan Hicks being selected in the third round by the Philadelphia Eagles. He will have a chance to compete for a starting job and has the potential to be a playmaker for the Eagles this year. Hicks was a big leader at Texas and compiled 107 tackles, 3.5 sacks and two interceptions as a senior.

Round 6 - JaCorey Shepherd, CB

JaCorey Shepherd was an interesting pick in the sixth round for the Eagles, and he is expected to compete for some playing time in 2015. There is a good chance that he won't see major action until his second season in the NFL, but he has impressive upside for the future. Shepherd ended up compiling 30 tackles, three interceptions and 15 defensed passes in his senior season with Kansas last year.

Round 6 - Randall Evans, CB

Philadelphia added yet another defensive back in the sixth round by drafting Kansas State cornerback Randall Evans. He isn't expected to see much time on the field this year, but he has the potential to work his way into the starting lineup at some point in the next couple of seasons. Evans is a very solid pick for the sixth round and will become a fan favorite fairly early on in his Eagles career.

Round 7 - Brian Mihalik, DE

The Eagles selected Boston College defensive end Brian Mihalik with their seventh-round pick in the draft, and he isn't expected to see much playing time early in his career. He recorded 4.5 sacks last season and will need to work closely with the coaching staff to unlock more of his full potential. Philadelphia believes he could become a role player at some point, but he may not stick with the team.
