From stealing crab legs to being picked No. 1 overall in the 2015 NFL Draft, Jameis Winston has been in the headlines for so many different reasons. For all it’s worth, the 2015 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Award is his to lose.

Sure, Winston isn’t the starting quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers yet, but no one would be surprised if he was eventually named the starter.

Here’s the deal: Winston was the No. 1 pick, he plays the quarterback position and he is a former Heisman Trophy winner. Whether you think he will be a star in the pros or are simply tired of hearing his name, all eyes will be on him when the Buccaneers take the field in 2015.

Although players like Marcus Mariota, Todd Gurley, Kevin White, Melvin Gordon and others all have the goods to be the best rookie on the offensive side of the ball, everyone is chasing Winston … until he has his first horrible game or is simply riding the bench to start the year.

I have said it many times before and I will say it again: The 2015 season is basically a lifetime away. Still, the man who won a title at Florida State is the early favorite to take home the OROY Award.

Who knows if he will actually take home said OROY Award and what that would mean for the rest of his career?
