John Elway and the Denver Broncos are primed for another legitimate run at playoff contention with Peyton Manning at the helm. They came up with a big season last year, but unfortunately fell at home to the Colts. Denver is going to need everyone playing at a high level on their roster in order to have a chance at winning a Super Bowl. Which five players in particular must step up during 2015 OTAs?

5. Bradley Roby, CB

The Denver Broncos already have Aqib Talib and Chris Harris Jr. on their cornerback depth chart, but Bradley Roby needs to step up this season and be a legitimate slot corner. Defending against the pass was not necessarily a "weakness" for the Broncos last year, but they did have some issues throughout the season. Roby has a lot of talent, and it's up to him to prove himself this offseason.

4. Shane Ray, OLB

Shane Ray was selected with the No. 23 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft and has a lot of work to do to prove that he deserves playing time in his rookie season. Last season with the Missouri Tigers, Ray ended up recording 65 tackles, 14.5 sacks and three forced fumbles. He has the potential to step in and make a difference immediately, but he'll have to prove that he's capable of handling that type of a role.

3. Ronnie Hillman, RB

C.J. Anderson came through with a huge season for the Broncos last season and showed that he is a legitimate No. 1 running back. Heading into the 2015 season, Anderson is going to be the top back on the roster with both Montee Ball and Ronnie Hillman behind him. If Hillman wants to get some playing time, he is going to need to put up an impressive offseason in order to win the primary backup job.

2. Owen Daniels, TE

The Denver Broncos lost tight end Julius Thomas in free agency this offseason and ended up signing veteran tight end Owen Daniels. He will be in competition with Virgil Green for the starting job heading into the upcoming season, but Daniels will need to beat him out in offseason work. Daniels caught 48 passes for 527 yards and four touchdowns last year with the Ravens and has a good chance to start for the Broncos.

Cody Latimer is without question the player with the most to prove and gain by having an impressive offseason. He didn't perform up to expectations with the Broncos in his rookie season, but he's ready to take the next step in 2015. There is no denying his potential, and he will be given the opportunity to play a decent amount if he can prove that he has made the necessary improvements this offseason.
