The Kansas City Chiefs missed the playoffs last season, but are very confident that they can turn things around in 2015. Andy Reid has a lot of talent to work with on both sides of the football, and expectations are very high. If they want to contend in a talented AFC, they are going to need every player playing at his best throughout the season.

Marcus Peters was selected with the 18th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs, and there is no denying the star potential that he has. He also showed attitude issues throughout his collegiate career, but Andy Reid and the Chiefs wanted him anyway. If he comes through with the type of offseason that he is capable of having, it wouldn't be surprising to see him end up as a Week 1 starter or at least have a major role.

Kansas City's third-string quarterback, Tyler Bray, has a lot of competition to even secure a roster spot this offseason. Alex Smith is the starter with Chase Daniel being his primary backup, and Bray has yet to truly prove that he can play at an NFL level. This offseason could be his last chance to prove himself to the Chiefs, and he has to play to his top potential to do that.

Jamaal Charles and Knile Davis are the top two running backs for the Kansas City Chiefs, and De'Anthony Thomas is going to have to carve out a role for himself. His speed will get him on the field at times as a return man, but he isn't going to see much time in the backfield. Thomas has the potential to be a very dangerous weapon for Kansas City in 2015, but he has to force their hand with a good offseason of work.

2. Da'Rick Rogers, Wide Receiver

One of the talented wide receivers on the Kansas City roster is former Indianapolis Colts receiver Da'Rick Rogers. He has had multiple issues off-the-field, but that doesn't take away from his enormous potential as a big play threat when he's on the gridiron. If he can stay out of trouble and perform well this offseason, Rogers has a legitimate chance to break into a role in 2015.

Another wide receiver looking to make an impact for the Chiefs in 2015 is veteran Jason Avant. He played in five games with the Chiefs last year, catching 13 passes for 152 yards on the year. If he wants to earn a bigger role with the team in 2015, he is going to have to outperform all of the other young up-and-coming wide receivers that the Chiefs have picked up during offseason action.
