5 Green Bay Packers Who Won't Make It Through 2015 OTAs

The Green Bay Packers have some work to do looking ahead to the 2015 season. They are still fresh off of a painful loss in the NFC Championship game against the Seattle Seahawks and want to get back to that game again this year. There is a lot of talent on their roster, but there are some players who won't get through OTAs with a roster spot. Which five players in particular are in danger of not making it through?

Green Bay loaded up at the cornerback position in the 2015 NFL Draft with both Damarious Randall and Quinten Rollins, and as a result, Demetri Goodson doesn't have a great chance of making the roster. He has talent, but not enough talent to compete with the glut of corners that the Packers possess. There is no doubt that he will find a job elsewhere, but he just doesn't seem to be a great fit for Green Bay in 2015.

Matt Blanchard signed with the Green Bay Packers this offseason, but it doesn't appear that he will have much of a chance at making the roster. Scott Tolzien and Brett Hundley are much better quarterbacks, and they have more potential in the future as well. This doesn't mean that Blanchard isn't an NFL caliber quarterback, but he simply won't be able to beat out the other two guys in the competition.

3. Rajion Neal, RB

One of the most difficult cuts for the Green Bay Packers this year is going to come at the running back position. Rajion Neal is a very talented back, but he simply isn't going to beat out John Crockett. He has NFL talent without question, but the Packers love what they have seen from Crockett and Neal will be the one who ends up in free agency or potentially on Green Bay's practice squad when everything is said and done.

2. Jared Abbrederis, WR

Jared Abbrederis was a star in college with the Wisconsin Badgers, and the Packers decided to give him a chance. He got injured last season, unfortunately, and likely doesn't have a chance to make the regular season roster this year with all of the talent that they have at the position. Another team will happily pick him up and give him a chance, but the situation in Green Bay simply isn't good for him.

Similar to the situation that Jared Abbrederis is going to face this year, Javess Blue simply won't be able to beat out all of the other talent at the wide receiver position. Green Bay could end up keeping him around on the practice squad, but he won't beat out Ty Montgomery, Jeff Janis or even Myles White. Blue has the talent to make a career for himself in the NFL, but this year in Green Bay isn't going to be his big break.
