The 49ers have never been known to construct their roster conventionally. This season the 49ers signed nine undrafted rookies to their team. While not all of these players will make the 53 man roster, there are some names among these rookies that you should remember.

Dres Anderson finished his time at Utah as the 5th best player in his school's history. He recorded 2,077 receiving yards in his time with school and also received and honorable mention in the Academic All Pac-12 honors. Anderson was a leader on the team and could provide some depth and security for the 49ers at wide receiver.

4. Darius Davis, WR, Henderson State

Davis could possibly be one of the most underrated undrafted rookies of the year. From the small school of Henderson State, Davis had back to back 1,000 plus yard seasons in 2013 and 2014. Davis finished his career at Henderson with the record for career receiving yards (3,686) and receiving touchdowns (47). The 49ers seem unlikely to pass on this undrafted free agent.

The 49ers have some serious needs at offensive lineman this year after losing Mike Iupati to the Arizona Cardinals in free agency. No one seems to have emerged as a definite leader at this point, and while it's a huge stretch, Miller could make a push for a spot on the final roster. Miller started eight games for Auburn in 2014 and his performance level was notable.

2. Dylan Thompson, QB, South Carolina

The 49ers could definitely use some more security at quarterback. If the worst happened and Colin Kaepernick was injured, Gabbert may not be enough to hold the team together. Dylan Thompson from South Carolina would be a good signing for the 49ers. Thompson led the SEC with 3,564 passing yards, setting a school record and earning the respect of his peers and scouts.

The San Francisco 49ers are a defensive-minded team. Trent Baalke loves and nurtures his defense and never seems to be satisfied with his depth chart. For this reason, Marcus Rush has a great shot at making the final roster. Rush's achievements boast him as a four-year letter winner at Michigan State. He started 53 games (a school record) at defensive end, recording 163 tackles and 18.5 sacks. Rush is a standout and has a real shot at the 49ers.
