Chip Kelly and the Philadelphia Eagles had an incredibly busy offseason, and are hoping to bounce back and reclaim the NFC East division title. It isn't going to be easy, but they do have a lot of talent on their roster. That being said, what five questions must they answer during training camp in order to prove that they're legitimate playoff contenders?

Jeremy Maclin ended up leaving the Philadelphia Eagles in free agency this past offseason, and his departure has left a sizable hole in their offense. He was their No. 1 receiver last season, and they will have to figure out how to replace him. Jordan Matthews and Riley Cooper will have to step up, while Josh Huff and rookie Nelson Agholor will also have large roles.

The Philadelphia Eagles' defense has had issues over the past few seasons as well, and their pass rush wasn't all that great last year. Losing Trent Cole in free agency isn't going to help them improve in 2015, and they will be relying on Vinny Curry and Fletcher Cox to step up. They will have to figure out how to get to the quarterback in order to make the postseason.

Acquiring Kiko Alonso from the Buffalo Bills this offseason could be exactly what turns the Eagles' defense back around. He didn't play at all last season due to a torn ACL, but he racked up 159 tackles, 2.0 sacks, a forced fumble and four interceptions in the 2013 season. Philadelphia is going to need him to step up and be the leader of their defense, and he'll have to prove that he is capable of doing just that.

2. Has Philadelphia's Secondary Improved?

Byron Maxwell was another big offseason addition for the Philadelphia Eagles, and is expected to help the secondary take a major step forward. He recorded 39 tackles, two interceptions and 12 defensed passes with the Seahawks last season. Whether or not they have improved enough to take on the better NFC offenses is something that they'll have to prove.

Sam Bradford, Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow and Matt Barkley all have one thing in common. They are all vying for the Philadelphia Eagles' starting quarterback job as training camp draws closer to opening. Chip Kelly isn't going to rush his decision on who will be the starter, and they are all going to be battling to prove which one deserves to start throughout training camp.
