Blake Bortles and the Jacksonville Jaguars are without question set to take a step forward during the 2015 season. They added some big pieces this past offseason and there is a lot of excitement surrounding the team. That being said, there are still some questions surrounding them.

What five questions do the Jaguars have to answer during training camp this year?

5. Do the Jaguars Have Enough Talent at Wide Receiver?

Jacksonville didn't make a splash at the wide receiver position, but there is no question that they have some talent already on their roster. Allen Hurns, Marqise Lee, Allen Robinson and Ace Sanders will be asked to step up in a big way. Those four players are still very young and haven't been consistent to this point in their careers, which is something that they will need to prove before the season gets underway.

4. Is Julius Thomas the Answer at Tight End?

The Jacksonville Jaguars were able to snag star tight end Julius Thomas in free agency, and he is expected to be a huge addition for them. He was one of Peyton Manning's favorite targets with the Broncos, although he has been called a product of the system. Signing with the Jaguars will give him a chance to prove that he wasn't a product of the system, and Jacksonville will need a big year from him.

3. Can the Jaguars' Secondary Step Up?

Davon House was another big free agency signing for the Jacksonville Jaguars, and he will be asked to step into a large role immediately. He wasn't a starter last year with the Packers, but has shown flashes of brilliance as a playmaker in the secondary. Jacksonville is going to need their defensive backfield to step up and play at a high level if they want to compete in the AFC.

2. Who Will Start at Running Back?

Perhaps the most intriguing position battle for the Jaguars this year is at the running back position. T.J. Yeldon and Denard Robinson are the main two contenders, although Toby Gerhart hasn't been ruled out either. That is a question and battle that will have to be figured out, and the Jaguars need a ground game to help take pressure off of second-year quarterback Blake Bortles.

Blake Bortles was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, and had a very inconsistent rookie season last year. He threw for 2,908 yards, 11 touchdowns and 17 interceptions, while also rushing for 419 yards on the year. Those numbers may not look great, but he has the physical ability and is smart enough to make the necessary changes to make a big step forward in 2015.
