Before looking forward to the 2015 NFL season for the Houston Texans, it's a good time to take a look back at the 2014 Houston Texans. Here are my award winners for MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Comeback Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year.

MVP: J.J. Watt

Without Watt, the Texans wouldn't be 9-7 and the defense wouldn't be one of the best in the NFL. Watt nearly won the NFL MVP Award, but was beat out by Aaron Rodgers.

Again, this comes as no surprise as Watt is the unanimous choice for Defensive Player of the Year. In 2014, Watt was the first unanimous Defensive Player of the Year in NFL history.

Offensive Player of the Year: Arian Foster

Foster was the Texans' most indispensable weapon in 2014, racking up over 1,500 all-purpose yards and scoring 13 touchdowns.

Foster was out for most of 2013, and the Texans limped to a 2-14 season. With Foster back in the lineup, the Texans had a seven-game improvement, going 9-7 in 2014.

Rookie of the Year: Alfred Blue

In an otherwise weak rookie class, Alfred Blue stood out as the best. A sixth-round pick, Blue ran for 528 yards and two touchdowns in Foster's absence.

J.J. Watt Performs Insane Box Jump Just Days After Surgery

J.J. Watt played through a ton of injuries in 2015 and continues to rehab from sports hernia surgery (among other things) this offseason. To show how he's doing of late, Watt tweeted this epic video in which he does an insane box jump. Most people can't do this at 100 percent, but for Watt, it's no chore at all.
