After finishing 3-13 last season, the young Jacksonville Jaguars look to improve in year three under Gus Bradley. Here are 5 predictions for the 2015 season.

The Jaguars made a big free-agent splash with the signing of tight end Julius Thomas. Thomas enters this season determined to prove that he was not just a product of his former quarterback Peyton Manning. Bortles will be targeting Thomas a lot, which will result in plenty of scores and yards for the new acquisition.

The Jaguars' offense struggled more on the passing end than the rushing end. With the addition of Julius Thomas, Jacksonville's passing game should improve significantly. Look for the offense to better and rank in the top 15 in the league.

3. T.J. Yeldon rushes for over 1,000 yards

The Jaguars improved their offensive line with the addition of center Stefen Wisniewski. Yeldon has impressed his peers so far and is slated to be the starting back. If he secures his position as top back there is no reason he shouldn't top 1,000 yards given his speed and toughness.

2. Bortles will throw for 3,500 yards and 20-plus Touchdowns

Bortles struggled at times due in part to playing with a young offense with multiple rookies. After a season under his belt along with the addition of weapons such as Thomas and Yeldon, Bortles looks to have a better sophomore season. Bortles now has the weapons to allow him to air it out. As a result, Bortles should be able to surpass 3,500 yards and the 20-touchdown mark, both marks representing improvements from his rookie season.

Ultimately, this remains a young team that will still make their fair share of mistakes. This is a better team than last year and that will show in their record. Expect an improvement, but still a sub-.500 team st 7-9.
