A bevy of moves were made by the Miami Dolphins to overhaul the roster for 2015. These moves were made to make the team younger, while staying competitive in the AFC East. Here are five early predictions on how the new Dolphins will do in 2015.

5. Jarvis Landry Will Be A Breakout Player

Landry avoids a sophomore slump and tops his 2014 numbers. Look for Landry to surpass 1000 yards on 90 plus catches and score a couple more touchdowns than last year. Upgrades at the other receiver positions and tight end make defenses more vulnerable, leaving Landry to get open in space. A better Tannehill helps him too.

4. Caleb Sturgis Will Get Cut

For the first time in what seems like forever, the Dolphins are forced to play musical chairs at kicker. Sturgis' shaky field goal percentage, an inability to consistently land balls in the end zone on kickoffs and a recurrence of his leg maladies make Miami bring in a slew of rookie free agents and over the hill veterans forcing fans to yearn for the days of Dan Carpenter.

3. Suh Catches The Blame For Disappointing Defense

Nobody expected Suh to live up to the ridiculously rich contract he signed in March. While his play is steady and Pro Bowl caliber, it does not do enough to make the Dolphins’ defense dominant. Age starts to catch up to some defenders, there are lapses at linebacker and the second cornerback spot becomes suspect. All of these failures are unfairly laid on Suh’s massive shoulders by pundits who expected Suh to singlehandedly carry Miami's defense.

Tannehill actually improves over his fantastic numbers of 2014. The fourth-year pro produces another 4000 yard passing season. He eclipses the 30-touchdown plateau. His touchdown to interception rate is better than 2 to 1 and he has a top-ten passer rating. He even rushes for over 300 yards again. For these efforts, Tannehill is invited to his first ever Pro Bowl.

Despite numerous offseason moves to make the team better on both offense and defense and a great year from Tannehill, the Dolphins fail to make it to the 10-win mark. Miami cannot overtake New England for first place in the AFC East and are in a battle until the end with Buffalo for division runner up. Both rivals finish 9-7 and miss the playoffs. Philbin is one of the first casualties of the infamous "Black Monday."
