Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are expected to be one of the main favorites to win Super Bowl 50 this season. They should have made it to the Super Bowl last season, but unfortunately collapsed in a big way in the NFC Championship game against the Seattle Seahawks. What five reasons can be given to support that the Packers will win Super Bowl 50?

The Green Bay Packers have seen Eddie Lacy completely round out their offense, and he has taken a lot of pressure off of Aaron Rodgers. He is one of the more dominant running backs in the NFL when he is on his game, and he's now run for two straight 1,000-yard seasons. This year will make that three in a row, and he is going to be even better and more difficult for opposing defenses to slow down in 2015.

4. Defensive Improvement

Green Bay's defense lost Tramon Williams, Davon House and A.J. Hawk this past offseason, but they are still going to be an improved unit from a year ago. They have a lot of young talent that will take a big step forward and still have both Clay Matthews and Julius Peppers to lead the way. It will be interesting to see just how good they are, but there will be obvious improvement.

3. Dynamic Playmaking Ability

Randall Cobb decided to re-sign with the Packers this offseason despite being offered bigger money elsewhere. He will be just one of the dynamic playmakers Green Bay has on their roster, and their offense is going to be among the best in the NFL. It is going to be a very exciting year to say the least, and players like Cobb will make it that much more entertaining for the fans.

2. Consistency

One word that can describe what the Green Bay Packers have built in their organization is consistency. They have kept the core group of players together long term and the coaching staff has remained mostly intact as well. This team is truly playing for each other, and that is something that is extremely underrated and is dangerous for any team standing in the Packers' way in 2015.

Easily the most obvious reason for the Green Bay Packers to be Super Bowl favorites is the presence of superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers. He is coming off of an MVP-winning season and will put up another year with monster numbers. Assuming he can stay healthy, Rodgers is going to lead his team to the Super Bowl and come away with his second career championship.
