The Green Bay Packers will have quite a few position battles throughout training camp, but one spot that won’t be up for grabs is at quarterback. Aaron Rodgers has solidified himself as the best quarterback in the game and is the NFL‘s reigning MVP. He is looking to win two in a row, but all of that starts with training camp and the preseason.

Rodgers is going to have an even better group of targets to throw to, with both Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb being joined by second-year wide receiver Davante Adams. Andrew Quarless and Richard Rodgers will hold down the tight end position, and opposing defenses will have to pick their poison with Rodgers tossing the football around to all of them.

Training camp is going to be an entertaining period of time once again for the Packers and their fans. There is nothing holding them back from being a Super Bowl caliber team, but they’ll need to come together and play for each other.

During the 2014 season, Rodgers ended up throwing for 4,381 yards, 38 touchdowns and just five interceptions. At this point in time, there are no quarterbacks even close to being better than Rodgers. He has completely taken over the position and is still improving each season. Heading into 2015, there aren’t many areas that he has to improve in, but the team is now improving around him.

Leadership is one quality that every single quarterback must have, and Rodgers took a step forward in that area last season. If he wants to improve any part of his game, this is the area that could use it the most. Becoming a more vocal leader would be beneficial for him, but it isn’t necessarily a big issue as he is seen as a leader on the field despite not being very vocal.

All of that being said, expect to see Rodgers come through with yet another MVP caliber season in 2015. Green Bay has done everything they can to build the offense around him, and they have also improved their defense. Rodgers is primed to come through with a career season, but he will need to stay healthy throughout the year in order to accomplish that goal.
