With a combined nine wins since 2012, Jacksonville Jaguars fans have not had much to cheer about in recent seasons. However, heading into 2015 the light at the end of the tunnel finally appears to be within reach. With that in mind, here are 10 reasons why Jaguars fans should be excited for the upcoming season.

10. Johnathan Cyprien's potential

In two seasons, Cyprien has yet to live up to the hype that comes from being a second-round draft choice. While he makes his fair share of tackles, Cyprien has not come up with the big plays. With the addition of cornerback Davon House and safety Sergio Brown, the Jaguars finally have the talent around their young safety to help him succeed.

9. Paul Posluszny's Return

Posluszny returns after missing the final nine games of last season with a torn pectoral. The veteran and leader of the Jaguars defense takes a ton of flack for his shortcomings in coverage, but he is one of the better two-down linebackers in the league. His return should dramatically improve a run defense that ranked 27th in the NFL last season.

8. Depth At Cornerback

For the first time in a long time, the Jaguars have a plethora of capable cornerbacks on the roster. With the addition of Davon House in free agency, as well as the continued development of young players Aaron Colvin, Dwayne Gratz, Jeremy Harris and Demetrius McCray, the Jaguars have a group that could provide some stability in the secondary for years to come.

7. New Offensive Coordinator Greg Olson

The Jaguars overhauled their offensive staff this offseason, adding offensive line coach Doug Marrone, quarterbacks coach Nathaniel Hackett, running backs coach Kelly Skipper, and Olson. While Olson's name may not generate much excitement, his work with Oakland Raiders' quarterback Derek Carr last season should create a sense of optimism among the fan base.

6. Addition of Dan Skuta

The Jaguars addressed a major need this offseason by adding Skuta to play the OTTO or strongside linebacker position. At 29 years old, Skuta lacks ideal experience at this point in his career, but his potential in Gus Bradley's defense should be enough to get Jaguars fans excited.

5. Improved Offensive Line

The Jaguars' offensive line was among the worst in the NFL last season, allowing a league-high 71 sacks. The team addressed the problems along the line this offseason with the additions of center Stefan Wisniewski and right tackle Jermey Parnell. With the added depth, the line should be much improved.

4. Exciting Rookie Class

Despite the season-ending injury to Dante Fowler Jr., the Jaguars' rookie class is still expected to contribute in a major way. Second-round pick T.J. Yeldon is projected to start at running back and guard A.J. Cann, safety James Sample, wide receiver Rashad Greene and defensive tackle Michael Bennett all figure prominently into the team's plans this season.

3. Allen Robinson's Progression

Robinson's rookie season was cut short by injury. However, based on his play in organized team activities, the young wide receiver appears set for a breakout season. With the addition of Julius Thomas at tight end, if Robinson can emerge as a true No. 1 wideout, the Jaguars' offense could be scary good.

The addition of Thomas in free agency gives the Jaguars offense something it hasn't had in quite some time -- a dynamic playmaker. While it is unlikely for him to match the production he had with the Denver Broncos, at the very least Thomas is a reliable target that should help Blake Bortles' development.

Speaking of Bortles, following an up-and-down rookie season, the second-year quarterback spent the offseason working on fundamentals and mechanics. He appears poised to take the next step in 2015.
