The past couple of days have not been good for the Buffalo Bills. After Aaron Kromer was arrested on Monday morning, the team had to deal with a rather embarrassing situation on Tuesday. Duke Williams, one of the team’s best safeties, was called out on adult star Mia Khalifa‘s Twitter account for repeatedly direct messaging her. Khalifa didn’t respond to the messages until recently, and here’s a look at a tweet Khalifa sent out yesterday.

You can’t exactly blame Williams for messaging a beautiful woman, but I mean, c’mon. You need to know when to quit; she didn’t respond and she clearly wasn’t interested.

Now, Williams should be focusing more on football than trying to get lucky with porn stars, and this situation may actually hurt him in the position battle he is fighting against veteran Corey Graham. If Williams continues to be distracted by off the field issues, then he probably won’t play well enough to pry the job away from Graham.

Meanwhile, the Bills team now has to deal with the publicity this event is getting. This isn’t really a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but still this is not the type of distraction that the Bills need right now. They need to be able to focus on the Kromer issue, and the Williams situation is going to prevent that from happening. Hopefully, the team will just make a statement and let Williams’ teammates give him flak for his failed efforts with Khalifa.
