Could the Indianapolis Colts contend for a Super Bowl title? They are clearly the cream of the crop in their division, but do any other teams have a chance at contending for a playoff berth? The answer might surprise you in this prediction for the AFC South standings in 2015.

Teams with rookie QBs don't win a lot of football games. That's just how it goes, and Marcus Mariota definitely needs time to develop, no matter how much Ken Whisenhunt raves about him. The Titans have a lot of holes on their team and they just aren't ready to compete. This is a rebuilding year in the Music City to put it lightly.

3. Jacksonville Jaguars, 5-11

Gus Bradley is probably the nicest head coach in the NFL, but unfortunately that doesn't do much for the Jags on the field. Blake Bortles has to make positive strides this year and the defense has to continue to improve. TJ Yeldon is potentially a big-time NFL RB, and if he has a big rookie year it could take a lot of pressure off the young QB.

2. Houston Texans, 10-6

Brian Hoyer isn't a great QB, but I think he's better than he gets credit for. If Arian Foster can hold off Father Time, with DeAndre Hopkins in the mix at WR, I think Bill O'Brien can get this offense to score a few points. With JJ Watt terrorizing opposing QBs, this team will be fighting for a Wild Card spot.

Andrew Luck is really, really good, so that's a nice place to start. The Colts are going to put up plenty of points and the running game will be better with Frank Gore. Can the defense be average? If it can, that should be enough to get the Colts to San Francisco in February and compete for a championship.
