Predicting the Final Score of Atlanta Falcons vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers In NFL Week 8

This game really shouldn’t be a tough one for the Atlanta Falcons in the grand scheme of things. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are one of the weaker teams in the NFL, and though the team has some young talent, they won’t be able to play well against the Falcons.

The Falcons’ offense is going to be operating at maximum efficiency in this game. Matt Ryan and Julio Jones should be able to easily take control over the weak secondary of the Bucs. Jones should be getting healthier week by week, provided that he doesn’t suffer any setbacks, and he should have a massive game. Across from him, all the Falcons need is for either Roddy White or Leonard Hankerson to be able to get open and take some of the attention away from Jones.

Having a couple of open receivers will also help Devonta Freeman and the running game. Freeman has been a revelation for the team this season, and he should play well against the Bucs. Freeman will be able to rip off some big games, like he has done all season, and there’s no reason that will change against the Bucs.

As for the Bucs’ offense, it’s not likely that they will be able to do too well against the Falcons. Dan Quinn has the Falcons playing at a high level defensively, and the Bucs simply don’t have enough weapons to compete. Sure, Mike Evans is back and Doug Martin is having a great year, but Jameis Winston is having some trouble to start his NFL career. Winston has potential, but his inconsistency has hurt the Bucs greatly this year. He’ll be good, but he still needs time to develop.

The main factor that will determine the score of this game is how Ryan plays. If he is on fire, then the Falcons will crush the Bucs. If Ryan is only okay, however, then the team will win by a respectable amount. I think that it’s most likely that the latter will happen, but he’ll be efficient enough to lead the Falcons to a double-digit victory.
