Predicting the Final Score of San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks In NFL Week 11

Every time we think the Seattle Seahawks are ready to make a playoff run, they disappoint. Pete Carroll‘s team was presented with an opportunity to cut the Arizona Cardinals‘ NFC West division lead to one game with a win last Sunday night, but they couldn’t hold a fourth quarter lead once again as the Cardinals emerged with a 39-32 victory to push their lead to three games. Sitting at 4-5, this week’s game against the San Francisco 49ers is now a must-win.

As for the 49ers, they will be looking to win their second straight game with Blaine Gabbert at quarterback. While the win over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 9 was certainly impressive, playing an angry Seahawks team in their house is a near impossible feat for the 49ers. If there’s any chance of it happening, Gabbert will have to play turnover-free football, and the 49ers’ offense will have to be successful running the rock.

Russell Wilson and the Seahawks’ offense need to figure things out fast. General manager John Schneider went out and acquired Jimmy Graham to be Wilson’s No. 1 target, especially in the red zone, but they haven’t been using him as such. Instead, he’s spent most of his time as an in-line blocker because of the struggles of the offensive line. Anyone that knows Graham knows he’s not even an average blocker. Darrell Bevell needs to consider splitting Graham out wide more and using Luke Willson to be the blocking tight end.

With the importance of this game to the Seahawks, I give the 49ers no chance to win. If by some miraculous event they do emerge victorious, the Seahawks might as well waive their white flags on the 2015 season because there’s no coming back from that.

Prediction: Seattle 37, San Francisco 13
