It’s no secret that Miami Dolphins DT Ndamukong Suh is one of the most hated players in the NFL not only by opponents, but also by teammates. Thus, it should come as a surprise to no one to hear about Suh’s latest antics.

This morning on the NFL Network, insider Ian Rapoport reported that on Monday, Suh addressed his teammates in angry fashion during a speech in regards to Miami’s Week 11 loss to the Dallas Cowboys

“I’m told he told them: ‘I run this defense, I’m going to be here for the next five years, there is no guarantee any of you will be as well. Only a handful of guys are good enough to play with me right now,'” Rapoport said. “He also said the schemes were not good enough, the techniques were not enough and everyone needed to be better, he said ‘follow me.'”

According to Rapoport, some teammates brushed it off as Suh trying to motivate a struggling unit. Others, however, found it puzzling.

“My understanding is the room was split, some saw this as the kind of address a leader would give. Others, just something they’ve never heard before,” Rapoport said.

If Suh was simply trying to light a fire under his defensive teammates, it surely didn’t work. Miami made the New York Jets look like an offensive juggernaut this afternoon by playing woefully inadequate defense, and the Dolphins lost 38-20 to fall to 4-7 on the season.
