It’s been a disastrous 2015 campaign for the Cleveland Browns, who currently sit at 2-9 and appear headed for one of the worst finishes in the entire NFL. While it seems everything has gone the worst direction imaginable for Cleveland faithful, they may get a shot to watch fan favorite Terrelle Pryor don the Browns’ colors again before the year is over.

According to head coach Mike Pettine, the Browns have had discussions about signing Pryor but nothing is official as of Tuesday night.

This latest development comes after another round of injuries for the Browns, who are just trying to avoid being a complete embarrassment on a weekly basis. Cleveland lost starting quarterback Josh McCown on Monday night after he broke his collarbone, landing him on IR. Although signing another quarterback could be an option, Pryor seems to be a serious consideration as well.

Pryor spent training camp and the preseason with Cleveland, but injuries limited his ability to see the field. He was active during the final week of the preseason, and carried the ball twice for nine yards. Re-signing with the Browns would give him another opportunity to prove he can be a capable wide receiver at the next level after several up-and-down stints under center with a few different teams.

It may not happen, but it wouldn’t be the worst move for the Browns. At least fans would have something to be excited about.
