The Baltimore Ravens travel south to take on the Miami Dolphins after a thrilling Monday night win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 12. For a team that continues to deal with an immense amount of adversity, they are still showing they have the will to fight for wins, which is exactly what they did in Cleveland.

For the first time in over seven years, Joe Flacco was not behind center Monday. Flacco suffered a season-ending knee injury in Week 11, which means that veteran Matt Schaub is the quarterback of the Ravens for the remainder of the season. Schaub’s accuracy is a cause for concern, but he came in and made some big plays, which in the end was enough to get the win. The highlight for the Ravens Monday night, however, was on special teams with a Kaelin Clay punt return for a touchdown, as well as a blocked field goal return for a touchdown by Will Hill which sealed the win for the Ravens.

This win puts the Ravens at 4-7 on the season, and they will look to continue this momentum into Week 13 against Dolphins, who also find themselves at 4-7. 2015 has been a disappointing season to say the least for both of these teams that had high expectations coming into the season. For two teams unlikely to make the playoffs, which one will have more will to win in Week 13?

The problem for the Dolphins has been their inability to establish consistency and balance on the offensive side of the ball. Ryan Tannehill has had some really great games, but also some really poor games. This week he has an opportunity to shine against a Ravens defense that has struggled against the pass.  Wide receiver Jarvis Landry is definitely one to watch in this game.

For the Ravens, the running game will be the key to a Week 13 win. The Dolphins rank dead last in the NFL against the run. With Justin Forsett out for the season with a broken arm, it will be up to Javorius Allen and Terrance West to carry the load. Both backs ran the ball well against the Browns, and I expect that to continue this week. If they are able to establish a rhythm on the ground, this will open things up for Schaub to make some plays through the air.

Even with this game being played in Miami, I still believe the Ravens have a slight advantage. They have momentum on their side after Monday night’s thrilling victory, and they will do what it takes to add to their two-game winning streak. It will be a close game between two struggling teams, but the Ravens will edge the Dolphins in the end.

Prediction: Ravens 27, Dolphins 24
