The Miami Dolphins had high hopes for this season, with a promising quarterback and a talented defense. Unfortunately, not much has gone their way so far, and they will need to make some serious changes to their roster. Here are five players that they could potentially cut in the offseason.

5. Earl Mitchell

There are several linebackers and defensive linemen that the Dolphins will have to choose from, but Mitchell might be a good candidate to cut. The team can save a little bit of money as well as potentially find a different option to pair with their talented defensive tackle.

Grimes is a talented cornerback, but he is getting older and the team needs to find ways to save money. He is good enough to land with another team, and will likely have to take a pay cut.

3. Jordan Cameron

Cameron was brought in to give the offense another weapon in the middle of the field, and he is one of the more athletic tight ends in the league. However, his production has not been there and the team can find a cheaper alternative.

2. Greg Jennings

The Dolphins have a pair of young, talented wide receivers, and need to spend their money on other positions. Jennings is not the receiver that he used to be, and they would be better served giving those snaps to other players.

Jordan has been a bust since arriving in Miami, and the organization needs to move on. He could possibly get a new start with a different team, as it is clearly not working out with the Dolphins.
